Fades are what our barbers do every day. Whether you want a skin fade taken all the way down, a low taper that grows out clean, or a blowout with volume on top, we match the fade to your hair, head shape and style. Horizon West Barber Shop is at The Mark in Winter Garden, serving Horizon West, Windermere, Hamlin and Four Corners, and our bilingual barbers speak English and Spanish.

Fade Services and Prices

  • Skin Fade ($43, about 40 min): Faded all the way down to skin and cleaned up with a straight razor, then styled with product and finished with a vibrating shoulder massage.

  • Taper Fade / Blowout Cut ($43, about 40 min): A smooth taper around the temples and neckline, keeping length and volume on top for a fresh, natural blowout look.

  • Skin Fade + Beard Grooming ($60, about 1 hr): Your skin fade plus a beard trim and line-up, essential-oil steam towel, hot lather neck shave and aftershave.

  • Premium Skin Fade ($80, about 1 hr): A skin fade with our Premium Face Cleansing: exfoliating face wash, steamer, essential-oil hot towel and face mask.

  • Kids Skin Fade ($43, about 40 min): The same clean fade for kids ages 6 to 12.

Skin Fade or Taper Fade: Which Is Right for You?

A skin fade blends your hair down to bare skin for the sharpest contrast and a bold, clean look. A taper is more subtle: it shortens the hair gradually at the sideburns and neckline while leaving more length, so it grows out softer. Not sure which you want? Tell your barber how you wear your hair and how often you plan to come in, and they will recommend the right height and blend.

How Often Should You Get a Fade?

Skin fades look sharpest for the first week or two, so many clients rebook every two to three weeks. Tapers grow out more gradually and can usually go a little longer between cuts.
